Botox® in Wellington & West Palm Beach, FL
The team of board-certified plastic surgeons at Hass Plastic Surgery & MediSpa offers Botox for men and women in West Palm Beach, Palm Beach Gardens, Jupiter, Palm Beach, Wellington and the surrounding areas of Florida.
What is Botox?
Botox is a purified form of botulinum toxin A. When injected properly, it is used to relax the muscles along the brow and eyelid area. This treatment is one of the most popular procedures performed here at Hass Plastic Surgery since it is an easy, no-downtime solution to getting a rejuvenated look to the upper face.
Botox has been FDA-approved since the late 80's. At our office, our board-certified plastic surgeons & trained staff have extensive cosmetic experience with both products. Their knowledge of the location and actions of the facial muscles allows them to inject in an exact pattern to give each patient the look they desire. Our patients love that they get a natural, yet youthful (not-frozen) appearance for their brow and eyelid area.
Let us give you that eye lift you are looking for. We would love for you to contact our office for a complimentary consultation to see if treatment with Botox is right for you. Let our experienced injectors provide you with a comprehensive evaluation and treatment plan, as we are confident that we have all of the tools needed to help you achieve your aesthetic goals.

How Much Does Botox Cost?
The cost of Botox will depend on the extent of treatment necessary to achieve the ideal result. During your consultation with our team, we will provide an individualized assessment and give you a clear breakdown of costs.
What Concerns Does Botox Treat?
Botox smooths the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles on the face. Botox can also be used to prevent wrinkles from forming in the future. Alternative uses of Botox include decreasing excessive underarm sweat and reducing the occurrence of migraines in patients.
Is Botox Safe?
Yes, Botox is absolutely safe. Botox is made from botulinum toxin type A, a refined bacterium. In small amounts, it can add volume back into the skin and produce a smoother and more youthful look. Botox is also used to treat hyperhidrosis and migraines.
How Soon Does Botox take Effect?
Immediately after treatment, you may have multiple bumps along the treated area where you were injected. These generally subside in about one hour. Some patients may get small bruises at the site, but that is typically not the case if the patient prepares properly. Botox tends to take effect within a few days, gradually increasing in effect until two weeks after the initial treatment. In our office, we like to see our patients for a follow-up visit at least two weeks after their initial injection to see how the patient has reacted. At that time, they can also add more product (if needed) to maximize your desired result and take note of how you like your refreshed look.
How Long Will the Results Last and When Do I Need to Re-Treat?
The paralysis from Botox should last about two to three months. However, the wrinkle-reducing effect can last longer. In the crows feet area along the sides of your eyes, wrinkles may re-appear in two to three months. Re-treatment is recommended when wrinkles remain, even though your face is relaxed. This may be as long as six months for the brow areas, but typically will be around three to four months after your prior treatment. Treatment should not be repeated sooner than three months.
Why Should I Bother with Botox if the Results Don't Last Longer?
In addition to immediate short-term wrinkle correction, these products slow the rate of aging on the upper face. Over time, constant frowning and squinting pull downward on the brow, causing an aged and angry appearance. Regular use of Botox minimizes the stress on the brow, significantly slowing this process.
For more questions, contact our office and talk with our staff or schedule your complimentary cosmetic consultation with our providers to see if this injectable is right for you. More importantly – if Botox is not the right choice for your overall refreshed look, our team of board-certified plastic surgeons are well-qualified to offer you other options, such as cosmetic surgeries of the eyelids (blepharoplasty) or a brow lift. Oftentimes, injectables and surgeries work hand-in-hand in giving patients in the Palm Beach area a beautiful, refreshed look.
